Coralville's annual 4thFest 5K Run/Walk is a perfect event for runners of all levels and abilities.
Coralville’s annual 4th of July celebration kicks off with the 4th Fest 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, July 1, 2017. Whether you’re a first-time runner or a seasoned vet, this fun run is for you! The course is challenging, but not too difficult. Same-day registration will be from 7:00-7:45 a.m. at the Coralville Recreation Center, and the Run/Walk will begin at 8:00 a.m. The Firecracker Mini-Marathon, which is free for kids up to 8 years old, will be held in the Recreation Center parking lot immediately following the 5K Run/Walk, at approximately 8:45 a.m. Stick around after the race for light refreshments and the awards ceremony.
